Student Council: Warehouse issues

This is an overview of the things that student council talked about this past sunday. Our next meeting is Sunday afternoon, so if you have any concerns or there is something that you would like us to work on for you let us know! 

Hours and printing in Lab (working toward 24/7 service in 5th floor lab, contingent on securing the equipment)Alias on more computers (keeping main lab open will help this)Noise abatement on upper floors (have asked for acoustical engineer from design and construction)Use of shop?  Hours? materials use? (have already talked to Don and Zeke concerning these issues)
Student across the board want more contact with each otherThey want multidisciplinary charrettes and classes!! (we will do Metropolis Charrette again in Spring,I’ll get Chris to update us on COLAB event.  Will ask him is COLAB open for business for students to hang out?IDSA is building a calendar for the elevator lobby to share information.)
Plannning Halloween party for all students on COLAB floor last FRIDAY in October.Open Studio nights at the end of semester with awards (Smith Hall did this very successfully last year)
