Student Council: Meeting Notes

I hope everyone is utilizing and enjoying the new Express Warehouse bus line! Also some light bulbs around the building have been replaced for safety.

We were talking about how to make the Colab space more personal to us.

Cass is screening movies in there every monday and wednesday from 12 to 2.

We are also discussing the possibility of putting some student work up in there for people from other floors to look at and critique. I think that we can all agree that it would be nice to get some outside perspective on our work. 

The first friday in November and the first friday in December there will be design buses to NYC: $20 for design students round trip (amazing) and $40 for non design (still pretty good). In December Zeke will be taking those who go to Macy’s to look at their window displays (christmas window displays at Macy’s are amazing, AND Zeke knows the designer who does them)

Spring semester there is a Boston design bus trip in the works

December 10th!!!!! Open studio for the whole warehouse…we all put our work out on our desks and get to go around and see what everyone else has been doing all semester.

HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!!!

The first Warehouse wide function with all of us together. Dress up and come hang out, eat food, dance, play games, and meet people from other floors. There will be great prizes to win (such as design magazine subscriptions and the like). Teachers are encouraged to come and dress up!!!! Bring all of your friends and lets make this the best halloween part ever! FRIDAY 6-9pm in COLAB (4th floor)
